After a long month, the contest is now at an end. I would like to thank everyone who participated, and everything worked out so nice that nothing would make me hesitate from holding a contest in the future :3

Keep in mind that everything you see in the contest folder SHOULD be an open species, the same goes for the winning species. So remember if you see anything you like, please go to the reference sheet, make your own and I will happily put it in the personal OC/featured/favourites/misc folder, whatever you want!

The poll has been closed at 9:49pm SEAT (lol south eastern australian time), and here are the winners

With 16 votes is *Mousu's Muuri species! - The species will be showcased in the featured folder, AND they will be taking home 100 points from myself.

With 19 votes is another super cool species, the Croco by *Mousu! She definitely had more than one stand out design that made it into the second round, and placing again must be very well deserved. This species will also go in the featured folder, and they also win a drawing and 300 points from me

And in first place, with a great poll tally of 30 votes is the Hoodchie, made by =PrePAWSterous!! Here is the winning species:
The first prize for them will be 400 points and a drawing from *Smushey, any kind of icon drawing from me, as well as the species being featured as well!

Thank you again for being apart of this group, and hopefully even though the contest is over, people will continue to look up the open species to make their own, or simply create more open species that we can all enjoy!

Hello everybody, it's time for a contest!

Aim
The contest will be all about getting some sweet new open species into our group for everyone to enjoy.

To participate in the contest, all you need to do is create a new species that you don't mind other people creating their own of, and making a small, to the point reference sheet that anybody can understand while making their own.

What Your Entry Must Have
A name for your species
At least one coloured image of your species
Some basic information regarding your species' behaviour/colour limitations/diet - pretty much anything you think is relevant and gives others a better understanding of your species. This information can be displayed on the ref sheet or in your artist's comments.

Voting
The voting will be done by myself, and all the other admins of the group if they read my notes
The entries will be judged on how original and cool they are, if we really want to make our own after looking at your entry, you get bonus points.
